A special thought...

During their careers, athletes will meet many people who will influence their development.  Trainers, specialists, other athletes – many come and go, but others are there to stay.  One thing is for certain, each will succeed, in their own way, in developing athletes both personally and professionally.

But among those that can influence an athlete, we count one as being more important.  She is their biggest source of comfort, a skilled nutritionist, a nurse from time to time, a personal taxi, a number one fan, an extraordinary person who has the force to assume all these roles.  A “super hero” you ask?  Yes, that’s what best describes the person that we affectionately call “mom!”

As Mother’s Day approaches, Sherbrooke 2013 would like to honour all mothers.  You, who has been there since their first summersault, who has dried the tears and celebrated successes like no other, to you who has accompanied your athlete during their highs as well as their lows, a big THANKS!

Sherbrooke 2013 would like you to share your stories.  To all athletes, this is a great time to highlight the importance of your mother in your life, and for moms, tells us what it is like to be the mother of an athlete.  We’re looking forward to your stories!

Happy Mother’s Day! :)
