On August 2, the Canada Summer Games will begin in Sherbrooke. At 100 days before D day, the organizing committee held a celebration to begin the big countdown. The John F. The names of the 18 venue team leaders were announced today at a news conference held at the Université de Sherbrooke. A team of devoted volunteers, deeply involved in organizing the Canada Summer Games–Sherbrooke 2013, was introduced and everyone spoke of their pride and enthusiasm in meeting this exciting challenge. The Lucky Star Program was developed as part of the educational project launched last September. This initiative consists of pairing schools in the Estrie region with athletes from throughout the country who are currently in an intensive training and selection process in the hopes of earning a spot at the 2013 Canada Games.
